Bul. Allii Cong Bai 9-12g Releases the exterior, induces sweating, disperses Cold and unblocks Yang.
With Dan Dou Chi, treats elderly or weak patients, pregnant women and children during any season for either Hot or Cold pathogens
With Dan Dou Chi and Sheng Jiang, for the initial stages of External Wind-Cold invasion.
Rx. Puerariae Ge Gen 9-12g Discharges Exterior conditions, releases the muscles, especially of the neck and upper back and raises Spleen Yang.
Rz. Zingiberis Recens Sheng Jiang 6-9g Releases the Exterior, induces perspiration, disperses Cold, warms the Lungs, stops coughing, normalizes the flow of Qi at the center and reduces the toxicity of other herbs.
Sm. Sojae Preparatum Dan Dou Chi 6-9g Releases the Exterior and harmonizes the Middle Jiao.
With Cong Bai, for colds associated with Yin Deficiency.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 9-9g Nourishes Yin.
With Sheng Di Huang, for hematemesis or epistaxis due to Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 6-9g Clears Heat, cools the Blood and nourishes Yin.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • Administer very slowly and only after it has been determined that the patient is not sweating.
  • Avoid Fr. Ulmi Preparatus Wu Yi while taking this formula.

  • This syndrome usually appears following long-term illness or significant Blood loss.
For severe aversion to Cold: For prominent fever:
